Public Data API
AskDover provides a JSON API for journalists, researchers, and civic developers studying Dover city government.
Authentication
Include your API key in the X-API-Key header on requests to /api/v1/*.
Daily limits
- Community: 100 requests a day. For Dover residents and neighborhood associations.
- Journalist and research: 2,500 requests a day. For local reporters, researchers, and non-profits.
- Bulk access: 10,000 or more requests a day. For high-volume archival and research applications.
