Board Members Present: Also Present: Dr. Jackson Dr. Victoir Cahoon, Superintendent Mr. Christiansen Mr. Toriano Giddens, Assistant Superintendent Ms. Duggins Ms. Pendleton Ms. Pendleton Ms. Geist - Absent President Jackson called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. Open Session On a motion by Mr. Christiansen, seconded by Ms. Pendleton, and on a unanimous vote, the board entered open session at 11:31 a.m. 1.01 Roll Call On a roll call vote of 4/0: Ms. Geist – absent; Ms. Pendleton – present; Ms. Duggins – present; Mr. Christiansen –present; Dr. Jackson – present, quorum was established. 1.02 Open Session/Luncheon Those attending the meeting introduced themselves which included: Board of Education members Members of the William Henry Alumni Association Capital School District administrators and employees ABHA Representative – Bryan Williams Delaware State News reporter 1.03 Presentation to the William Henry Alumni Association and Community with regard to the new Kent County Intensive Learning Center Mr. Bryan Williams, ABHA Architects, present a power point which showed the following: - • Site plan for new KCILC and Kent County Community School addition - • KCILC 1st and 2nd floors - • Examples of history places - • William Henry History Room - • New Planetarium Following the presentation, attendees at the meeting were given the opportunity to ask questions of Mr. Williams and Capital School District staff regarding the William Henry Campus. 2.0 Adjournment 2.01 Adjournment On a motion by Ms. Duggins, seconded by Mr. Christiansen, and on a unanimous vote, the meeting was adjourned at 1:42 p.m.
