They might have saved your presentation. All the slides, the kids might have got it. That was good. You should have started and ended with them. But I have a couple questions, seriously. Um, when I first got to council, one of my desires was to was a rec center, and then we I've learned from one of my former council members, Ralph Taylor and Councilman Anderson and others who were on that there was a survey done, and they wanted a water park, etc. Um, so um again, you know, it's right now. But now I have some questions. If not Dover, have you considered the county? For example, I know an individual who has the Dream Field, I believe, and they were trying to develop that. Have you inquired about added some addition to that area? You don't have to give away your your um you know your plan completely, obviously. But uh you know, that's one question.
Play from 4:17:48Sep 29, 2026, Council Committee of the Whole Meeting
And then and last um from me, um thank you so much. And I know, for example, we um um we we a feasibility study is that I I will tell you we need we need it bad. Um I won't go into some things that I'm doing because I don't want a conflict of interest, but uh trust me, you know, it's this is right down my my my lane. Um and then I know, you know, we have the Boys & Girls Club that's being built across from Dover High, which, you know, they're going to do things like AI and studios and and parks and and all of those things. So so um so and and the and the last thing I would I said the last, I'm a preacher, so I got three closings. Um last thing I would I would add is that um one of the things that that challenges here in Dover is location. I work with a certain population on a regular basis, and where it sits is going to be important for safety. Um so I ask once you do that, can you consider neutrality of of location, because that is uh when I work with certain individuals, you know, that that is a concern. Um yes, it can be here, but a certain population. So once that once that's um you know, I wish you much success, but I just want that as far as a thought. I yield, Council President, and thank you all for a great presentation.
