In October, PAL will hold the Annual Outrun Childhood Cancer 5K at Buffalo Wild Wings in Dover. This year,

will cost approximately $1,600 and the event coordinator needs an $800.00 deposit.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
After much discussion about future growth of the program and that most of the PAL events are run by only PFC
Smith (except for school holiday and summer vacations when the School Resource Officers are able to help), it
was determined that the next PAL meeting will held in August or September would be a lengthy meeting to
discuss strategic planning and future goals. Chief Thomas Johnson suggested a Sunday afternoon and the
committee agreed to contact Rebecca McNamara with their available dates.
