SPECIAL COUNCIL WORKSHOP - ES ACTION (PUBLIC) - Financial Strategy Sessions

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING A Special City Council Meeting was held on March 01, 2024, at 11:13 a.m. with Council President Hare presiding. Members present were Mr. Anderson, Mr. Boggerty, Mr. Neil, Dr. Pillsbury, Mrs. Arndt, Mr. Rocha, and Mr. Sudler. Mr. Lewis was absent. Mayor Christiansen was also present. Council staff members present were Mr. Hugg, Ms. Duca, Ms. Marney, Ms. Bennett, and Ms. Rivera. Other staff members present were Ms. Martine and Mr. Dill. ADOPTION OF AGENDA Mr. Neil moved for adoption of the agenda, seconded by Mr. Boggerty and unanimously carried (Lewis absent). Mr. Neil moved to recess into Executive Session pursuant to 29 Del. C. §10004(b)(4) - Strategy sessions, including those involving legal advice or opinion from an attorney-at-law, with respect to collective bargaining or pending or potential litigation, but only when an open meeting would have an adverse effect on the bargaining or litigation position of the public body. The motion was seconded by Mr. Boggerty and unanimously carried (Lewis absent). The Special Council Meeting recessed into Executive Session at 11:16 a.m. The Executive Session adjourned at 2:32 p.m. ACTION RESULTING FROM THE EXECUTIVE SESSION Strategy Session During the executive session, members of Council had a Financial Strategy Session. Mr. Sudler moved to instruct the City Manager to provide council with feedback on what was discussed and some ideas. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rocha and unanimously carried (Lewis absent). Mr. Anderson moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Sudler and unanimously carried (Lewis absent). The Special Council Meeting adjourned at 2:35 p.m. ANDRIA L.
